Solution 10474: Using Memory Functions and Operations on the TI-1795 SV.

What are the memory functions on the TI-1795 SV and how do I use them?

Memory operation keys on the TI-1795 SV are described below:

[M+] adds the displayed number to the memory. This key completes any operation (acts like the [=] key) and then adds the result to memory.

Example:

1) Press [4] [M+] [ON/C]

4 is stored to memory, and 'M' appears in the top left of the display.

2) Press [4] [x] [9] [M+]

36 is displayed, and the result of (36 + 4) will be stored to memory.

[M-] subtracts the displayed number from memory. This key completes any operation and then subtracts the result from memory.

Example:

1) Press [3] [x] [5] [M-] [ON/C]

15 is displayed, and the result of (40 - 15) will be stored to memory.

[MRC] recalls the number in memory to the display when pressed once. To clear the memory, press the [MRC] key twice.

Example:

1) Press [MRC]

25 is displayed, the result of (40 - 15).

2) Press [MRC] again.

25 remains in the display, but the 'M' indicator disappears, and the memory is cleared.
