How do I transfer data between the TI-83 Plus and TI-84 Plus Family of Graphing Calculators?
To transfer data between the TI-83 Plus and TI-84 Plus Family of Graphing Calculators, follow the steps below:
1) Connect the two calculators using the unit-to-unit (I/O) cable or mini A to mini B USB cable.
On the sending unit:
2) Press [2nd] [X,T,q,n] to access the LINK menu.
3) Select 4:List which will display all the lists stored in the calculator's memory.
4) Using the arrow keys, move the cursor next to the list name to be sent and press [ENTER]. This will select the list for transfer. Multiple lists can be selected for transfer.
5) Press the [right arrow] key to highlight TRANSMIT but DO NOT press [ENTER] yet.
On the receiving unit:
6) Press [2nd] [X,T,q,n] to access the LINK menu.
7) Press the [right arrow] key to highlight RECEIVE and then press [ENTER]. The receiving unit will display "Waiting...".
On the sending unit:
8) Press [ENTER] to initiate the data transfer.
